1870 Farm

We discovered a farm nearby, 1870 Farm, that is open for camps throughout the year.  We had a blast gem mining, playing in the sand pits, gardens and by the lake, feeding the animals, eating ice cream, and riding ponies/horses...the kids could not get enough!!!

Backyard Bonanza

We stayed close to home this weekend and enjoyed special time with each kid, while mixing in friends, food and LOTS of water!!!

Swim Team Practice

We have had a little hiccup at our pool with the start of the season - our pool is not ready to open... due to some construction!  So, we are having swim practice at a nearby aquatics center. Nonetheless, the kids are thrilled to be back in the water!!

Last Day of Preschool

Alex and Anna have officially finished up their 2016-2017 preschool year.  It is always a bittersweet farewell. We were all fighting back tears (and I almost hit a car in carpool - oops) but we are ready for our Summer Fun to begin!

 Alex could not have enjoyed Ms. Colleen and Ms. Sandra more if her tried.  They called him their "Cuddle Buddy"!

 Anna said she was, "...excited, happy and a little sad to be done with preschool. Excited to go to Kindergarten, Happy it is summer and Sad to leave her friends and teachers." She has been so loved by Ms. Gretchen, Ms. Sarah and Ms. M - we are truly blessed!

Our Little Graduate!

Anna graduated from preschool today.  It was a very exciting celebration with a special reading of The Little Engine That Could by Ms. Millie, followed by a diploma ceremony in which they received a Bible, and the cutest song ever heard (brought me to tears). Sweet Grandma Mary and Papa D made a special visit.
