Preschool Open House

Anna has Ms. Gretchen and Ms. Sarah! We were also super excited to learn that Gracie would be in her class too! Anna will go four mornings a week.

Alex has Ms. Sandra (same and Kate, Max and Anna) and Ms. Colleen (a dear friend of ours)!  He will go two mornings a week.

Cousin Love!

Liz and Emma made a spontaneous afternoon trip to Cary for a little cousin time! They played hard ALL. AFTERNOON. LONG. Then we did a cute craft before heading out to pick our own grapes! We topped off the afternoon with dinner at Brixx followed by ice cream and play time in the backyard.  These five cousins made the absolute most of five hours! Thanks Liz!

Last Pool Visit of Summer Vacation

We made the most of our time at the pool this summer. As the summer comes to an end and the kids made their final "must-do"list before the start of school, pool time was top of the list.  We were lucky enough to meet up with some of our friends and introduce them to Auntie Lana!

Surprise Guests

Kate, Max, Anna and Alexander woke up to some very special surprise guests Friday all the way from NEW ZEALAND!!!

It's Official..

Kate and Max will be in Ms. Casile's (Max's 1st grade teacher) 2nd grade class this year.  It is going to be an absolutely AMAZING year!

Grandma Mary (Alex calls her Mare) and Papa D. were passing through. They decided to make a little lunch stop at our house! Kate was quick to notice Papa D.'s birthday coming up on Saturday so we had to make it a PARTY - lunch, games, cupcakes (with personalized toppers by Kate)!

Museum of Life and Science

Jenn, Coby, & Ethan invited us to spend the afternoon playing at the Museum of Life and Science! Kate, Max and Anna could hardly wait. We played outside in the treehouses and stream, learned about DNA through several hands-on experiments and discovered a lot more about wind, sound, light, and gravity!  It was an absolute blast and we are so grateful for such amazing friends!
