Alexander is such a happy, cuddly, loveable little man. I can not squeeze him enough! This month he has really gotten into waving "Hi" and "Bye" and clapping. He has quite a repertoire of noises including a "G", "Mmmm", "Ba Ba", Uh, Oh, a pterodactyl squeal, a monster growl and a variety of other "happy noises". He is moving to more finger foods and has found puffs, yogurt melts, black beans, grapes, cheese, banana bits, and avocado slices quite intriguing. He is rolling all over the house on the floor and in his walker. He likes to sit and play with toys. He has been pulling his legs under him and is doing push-ups but not at once... I love his big smiles!!!

Memorial Day Brunch
We took advantage of the long weekend and got together a few of Peter's high school buddies and their families. We started the day with a fantastic brunch, lots of play time inside and out and a fun family dinner out at Brixx Pizza. It is such a treat to get together these old friends, catch-up, reminisce and enjoy watching our kids have fun together!
Thanks to the Ross, Simmons, and Medlin families for making the trip to Cary!

Sea Dragons 2015
Kate and Max decided they wanted to give swim team a try this summer. The season began this week. They are totally excited about being Sea Dragons, having the team suit and caps, swimming in the lap pool, jumping off the blocks and being surrounded by their friends from school and the neighborhood. It is going to be such a fun summer!

Last Day of Preschool
Anna's year in Ms. Diane and Ms. Sandra's class has come to a close. Anna LOVED going to school each and every day. Her teachers were so sweet and worked so hard to to make each day fun and exciting. Anna loved playing with her friends, playing outside on the new playground, doing projects and performing on stage. We feel especially blessed that her teachers and the program
director, Ms. M, were willing to work together with me to make this year
a reality for Anna. I truly can not thank them enough
for making our little girl so excited about going to preschool.

Emma's Frozen Birthday
The other BIG celebration this weekend was Emma's 6th birthday. Oh my, the kids had a BLAST at her pool party. Aunt Liz went above and beyond with fun projects, a scavenger hunt, the most amazing Elsa cake EVER and lots of POOL TIME! Alexander enjoyed his first experience in the pool and screamed with excitement the entire time!
Happy Birthday Emma!
We love you always and forever!
Emma's Ballet Recital
We had a fun weekend celebrating cousin Emma. We started the weekend at the Greensboro Cultural Arts Center to see Emma's ballet recital. It was absolutely precious!!! Emma used ballet to tell the story of Rapunzel - truly adorable.

Surprise Visit
Uncle Matt and Uncle Brent decided to surprise me for Mother's Day! All of a sudden I heard the kids screaming "Uncle Matt, Uncle Matt!" I was looking for him on facetime and there he was on my doorstep - Ha! The next few hours was a whirlwind of fun with the Uncles - flying contraptions, building projects, a walk and popsicles on the porch.

I feel SO LOVED!!! I could not have asked for a better Mother's Day Weekend. It started with muffins and ended with a Mother's Day Massage. There were cards, pictures, date nights, me time, family time, a picnic and a surprise visit from Uncle Matt & Uncle Brent in between! OH.MY.GOODNESS, what a wonderful weekend! I love my family and my family loves me!
Muffins For Mom
Kate & Max invited me to school to kick off Mother's Day WEEKEND! The kids served me some sweet treats and showered me with gifts and read me a few stories. Such a sweet way to start my weekend of surprises...

Anna's Spring Performance
Anna's preschool had one last performance before the year comes to a close. The kids have been working on their songs for a while and Anna was so excited to be on stage!
The kids decorated the room with oodles of beautiful art. We got to take home a watercolor print Anna named "The Whole World".
