Sprinkle

My sweet neighbors, Carin and Nicole, threw a sprinkle for me and our baby.  I was completely pampered with a pedicure followed by sweet and savory treats and adorably thoughtful gifts.  I feel so loved!

Storytime at the Arboretum

Fun in the Sun Friday brought us to JC Raulston Arboretum for storytime.  Uncle Matt arrived in town just in time to be picked up on our way to the arboretum.  Anna and Uncle Matt were inseparable! Shannon and Hadley joined us too. We read stories, sang a couple of songs, did a painting craft and voted for our favorite flowers. We extended our visit with foam airplanes and a picnic lunch before returning Uncle Matt to his work day!

My Little Fish

We have certainly made our second home at the pool this year.  Between daily swim lessons and meeting up with friends and neighbors, we make our way to the pool almost every day.  

Anna loves all the swim toys, especially the ones in the lost and found bin that we raid every visit.  She has started jumping in and loves going down the slide.  

Max is doing well with swim lessons and really has the backstroke down.  He can not get enough time on the slide.  

Kate loves swim lessons and her new found independence in the water and with friends.  She is always ready to play a game, go down the slide, dive for something, or splash around with mermaid dolls.

Writing Wednesday: Fish Stories

Kate's Recital

Kate has her ballet recital.  It was quite a production with seventeen different groups performing.  Every group had their own songs and costume...it was a very impressive endeavor.  The most important thing was that she was very proud of herself in the end and we could not have been prouder parents! 

 Kate and her group performed to "Touch the Sky" and "Reach".  

 A special thanks goes to Aunty Liz, Emma, Mimi and Pop Pop for making the trip to see Kate making her day even more special.
