Baby K's Baby Shower

A special thank you to Jenn, Heidi, and Yelena for hosting a baby shower for me and Baby K this weekend. I was surrounded by wonderful friends and family. We ate amazing food, laughed, talked, opened gifts, and enjoyed a super yummy cake. I was on a "Happy High" the rest of the weekend! I could not have asked for a more wonderful day.

32 Weeks - Phew!

Thirty-Two weeks is another huge milestone!  The brain is still developing but the risk of brain bleeds and damage is very low.  The lungs are still developing but they have a real strong start and the branches are filling in more and more by the day.  She is now 3lb 5oz and more active than ever.  She spent most of her time with her arms covering her face and in the plow position (feet over her head) and she gave the technician a few extra strong kicks! :) The technician said she is "wiggly and feisty!"

I feel great and I certainly can not complain since everyone is waiting on me hand-and-foot!

Papa-razzi!!!

Peter always says he can either be Papa or Paparazzi but not both! I think he did an amazing job with both this weekend.  He filled the kids' weekend with trips to the park, puddle jumping, lunch at Panera, Lion King at the movie theater, and a trip to Phillips Farm.

Peter knows how to spoil us all!  It makes me so happy to see the kids light up every night when Peter comes home and embrace the extra time they have with him on the weekends.

Thank you Peter for being such a wonderful husband, father, and best friend!
