Our little 'banana' has made it to the halfway mark. I feel fabulous! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE all movement! I am pretty sure we have settled on a name but we might wait to share it for now. Nesting is in full force and I love it!

Favorite Cousin
Liz and I have made it our mission this summer to get together as much as we can while she is on summer break! We tried to go to the pool but they had "electrical issues in the pump room". Yes, we had two out of three kids crying their eyes out as we dragged them back to the car. The day still turned out well with play time in the backyard, two popsicles each, lunch, and Yolo frozen yogurt to top off the day!

Happy Father's Day
It is always fun having an excuse to spoil Peter half as much as he spoils his family every day. Our day was filled with food, surprises, lunch in Greensboro, a trip to the pool, and a quiet dinner just the two of us!

I would also like to wish my Dad (aka Papa D) a Happy Father's Day. There are no words to describe the happiness I feel when my own children can't wait to talk to Papa D. I love you Dad!
Mimi & Pop Pop
Happy Father's Day and farewell to Mimi and Pop Pop as they prepare for their annual pilgrimage to Maine!

Seattle 2011
Peter and I just returned from a marvelous getaway to Seattle, Washington for a radiology conference. We did, saw, and ate so much! Highlights include Pike Place, the original Starbucks, Pioneeer Square, International District, The Underground Tour, Seattle Center, Olympic Sculpture Park, Sailboat tour of Elliott Bay, long walks along the waterfront, picnics in the park, and an afternoon cruise of Elliott Bay, Puget Sound, the locks, floating home communities and Lake Union! Beyond our day adventures were magnificent date nights at a French restaurant - Cafe Campagne, seafood overlooking the bay at Elliott's, and trendy tapas at Purple!
