35 Weeks
We have a busy week of doctors appointments - YAY for me!!! The doctors are very pleased with the congruent growth of both babies. The newest estimates suggest Baby Girl at 4lb 11oz. and Baby Boy at 4lb 12oz.! The doctors are thrilled that they have made it this far, are moving around quite a bit, are both head down, and have passed all of their non-stress tests with flying colors. We will continue the non-stress tests twice a week until the end and one more doctor's visit! So very close...we are so EXCITED!!!

34 Weeks
WOW!!! We are so thrilled to have made it to this milestone. All parts are in good shape at this point and they are filling out their fat reserves. We are hopeful they will get over the 5lb. hump before they are born.
As they get larger they roll into the fetal position a little more permanently. I think this time is getting near because they both spend the majority of the day as big balls on both sides of me. The boy must have more room than his sister because he does not stay in that position as long. What is so precious is that if I or Peter rubs the girl's butt she flattens out as if she is relaxing. How cute is that?!?!

Thoughts From My Bed...
It has been ten days since bedrest began and because of our friends, family, and Peter I am feeling great. It means the world to me that so many friends have taken the time to email or call just to check-in, see how I am doing and keep me updated with the outside world. A few additional highlights from the week include: a lovely visit from two teachers who brought me a milkshake; a neighbor, with two kids of her own plus an extra for the week made us dinner; my aunt sent a photo album of our pictures from Paris and a little video game to keep my mind sharp; my mother-in-law made the trip from Greensboro to bring us homemade chicken noodle soup and the amazing decor she has been working on for the nursery and my mom walked me through a knitting project and kept me occupied with planning for my sister's baby shower.
Peter, my best friend and the love of my life, makes me feel like a princess every single day. He works every day, calls to check on me multiple times in a given day, does everything around the house, runs errands, and finds ways to make me laugh and surprise me. He is an amazing husband and will be a wonderful Daddy.

32 Weeks - Yipppeeee!
A great day indeed! The newest reports say...
Baby Girl Kranz 3lbs 11oz
Baby Boy Kranz 3lbs 12 oz
Both are head down!
The placenta is no longer considered "low-lying"
Other fun tidbits: Baby Girl has a little hair and likes to practice pretend breathing. Baby Boy likes to stick his toes up into my belly button and prefers to sleep in until after 10am. Both babies like their fingers and like to play footsie in my ribs!
It was a wonderful four hours out of the house, surrounded by people, breathing in the fresh cool air, and getting wonderful news about our babies.
